Hoy vamos a hablar de qué es la ingeniería inversa. Pues bien, es un proceso para pasar un objeto real, ya sea una maqueta,un producto o un prototipo, al ordenador. De tal modo que lo podamos recrear mediante programas CAD como ProEngineer o Catia.
Según Wikipedia: El objetivo de la ingeniería inversa es obtener información o un diseño a partir de un producto accesible al público, con el fin de determinar de qué está hecho, qué lo hace funcionar y cómo fue fabricado.
Para ello lo que tienes que tener es un scanner. Hay diferentes formas de escanear un producto. Una de ellas es la que os presentamos hoy. Mediante un scaner movil apuntamos al objeto, que tiene unas pegatinas blancas para que se situe, y lo movemos pasandolo por toda la superficie. La mejor explicación creo que es ver el video:
