#88 - Playnetix Tumbler

Los adolescentes es un grupo de edad muy complicado! Volviendo a los adolescentes (edades 6-14), el Playnetix Tumbler es una estructura de movimiento para que ellos jueguen. Es un intento de sacar a los niños fuera de casa y atraerlos fuera de sus videojuegos y la televisión. Además de proporcionar toneladas de risas, la acción del juego indirectamente, da como resultado de la aptitud básica y muy necesaria como es la actividad física. La estructura se mantiene constantemente en movimiento Fijado en un muelle en la rótula, el Playnetix Tumbler tiene 360 ​​grados de movimiento de rotación y puede girar en todas direcciones. La belleza de este juego es que los niños están en todo momento en movimiento.


Teewns is a very complex age-group; in my times there were just pre-teens and teens, but given the current scenario, damn shrinks have further broken down the age-groups! Getting back to the tweens (ages 6-14); the Playnetix Tumbler devised here is a full motion play structure meant for them. It’s an attempt to get the kids off their butt and lure them away from their videogames and TV. Besides providing tons of laughs, the play action indirectly results in core fitness and much-needed physical activity. The structure constantly keeps moving and is similar to a child’s teeter-totter but a tad modified. Fixed on a spring dampened ball joint, the Tumbler has 360 degrees of rotational motion and can pivot in all directions. The beauty of this play-way is that the child is constantly moving and shifting from one end to another….quite like monkey-ing around the house!

#80 - First Aid Intelligent Kid

First Aid 2.0 incluye una pantalla LED en forma de Cruz Roja que te da instrucciones de como administrar primeros auxilios paso por paso. Además tiene un sistema GPS y te puede aconsejar del hospital más cercano.  En una situación de emergencia, este producto te ayuda en los pasos cruciales para salvar vidas.

Esta alimentada por una bateria de litio-ion y por corriente alterna. El consumo es muy bajo cuando esta en modo standby. Es capaz de estar en funcionamiento durante 24 horas sin tener que ser cargada o 6 meses en modo standby.

Para su facil manejo, aparecen en la pantalla los principales tratamientos a seguir y posibles situaciones. Este concept ha sido ganador del red dot design 2011.


First Aid 2.0 features a LED Red Cross panel that displays step-by-step instructions on how to administer first aid, relevant to the injury. It even has a GPS tracking system and can inform you about the nearest hospital or clinic. In the stressful situation of an emergency, this kit helps refines the process, which is the crucial first step in saving lives.


Powered by a lithium-ion battery and AC power, the kit consumes little energy when it is on standby mode. It is capable of operating for a full 24-hours (without recharging), or 6 months when on standby. Frequent injuries and their course of treatment are bookmarked on the screen’s home page for easy access. I love the way it doubles up as a subtle night lamp, so that it is easily reachable, even in darkness!
