¿Material? Poliestireno extruido. Se vende en planchas y para poder empezar tuvimos que hacer un bloque cortando 9 tochos de 250x100 mm. Así quedo el bloque despues de darle pegamento y dejarlo un dia entero secando / Material? Extruded polystyrene. Sold in sheets, so we had to start cutting blocks of 9 250x100 mm. This is the block after giving glue and let it dry a whole day.
Segundo paso: coger las limas y lijas y a desgastar sin parar. Primero un perfil similar y luego nos acercamos a la forma / Second step: get the files and sandpaper and wear without rest. First a similar profile and then we come to the form.
Comparandolos parece mentira que hayamos conseguido algo así partiendo de un bloque / Comparing them it seems incredible that we got something like this from a block
Éste es el producto final. En mi opinión nada mal para ser la primera vez / This is the final product. In my opinion quite good for the first time
Conclusiones: un material fácil de conseguir y barato que no da unos buenos acabados. Yo os lo recomiendo más que nada para ver que forma podría tener un objeto, no para un prototipo o maqueta final / Conclusions: a material easy to obtain and cheap, but no very good in the final shape. I will recommend it for a model in the first steps of a process and not for a final mock up.
